Several new contests were confirmed to complete the Bellator 292 preliminary draw: Julius Anglickas vs. Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov at light heavyweight; Bobby Seronio III vs. Alberto Garcia at bantamweight; Enrique Barzola vs. Erik Perez at bantamweight; Khalid Murtazaliev vs. Tony Johnson at middleweight and Islam Mamedov vs. Shamil Nikaev at lightweight.
Page had a six-bout winning streak snapped in his last outing, when he dropped a split decision to Logan Storley in an interim welterweight title bout at Bellator 281. The 35-year-old Englishman owns a 20-3 career mark that includes triumphs over the likes of Douglas Lima, Derek Anderson and Paul Daley.
Yamauchi, the first fighter in promotion history to earn victories in three different weight classes, is undefeated since moving to 170 pounds. During that run, the 30-year-old has earned finishes against Neiman Gracie, Levan Chokheli and Christopher Gonzalez to establish himself as a contender in his new weight class.
