Michal Materla will defend his middleweight belt against Tomasz Drwal at KSW 31 on May 23.
A longtime KSW veteran, Materla fought twice in 2014, outpointing Jay Silva in their rubber match at KSW 26 before scoring a third-round technical knockout over Jorge Luis Bezerra at KSW 28.
Drwal has won four straight contests since back-to-back losses to Rousimar Palahares and David Branch ended his tenure with the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2010. The 33-year-old Krakow, Poland, native last competed at Pro MMA Challenge 1 this past March, when he knocked out Delson Heleno in the first round.
