Total Combat veteran Jorge Ortiz (Pictures) tested positive for Nandrolone, the same anabolic steroid found in Royce Gracie's (Pictures) system earlier this month, following his loss in Total Combat on June 8, the California State Athletic Commissioned revealed Tuesday.

Ortiz was fined $2,500 -- the maximum penalty levied by the CSAC -- and suspended for 12 months from the date of his fight in San Diego, Calif. The middleweight's license expires March 19, 2008; in order to fulfill the 365 day penalty, the CSAC assessed an additional 80 days should Ortiz re-apply for a license.
