Middleweights Clint Hester, Luke Barnatt to Clash at UFC Fight Night in Fairfax

Clint Hester will meet Luke Barnatt in a middleweight clash at UFC Fight Night “Mendes vs. Lamas” on April 4.

Ultimate Fighting Championship officials announced the bout on Friday. The card takes place at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va., and is headlined by a featherweight tilt pitting Chad Mendes against Ricardo Lamas.

Hester, 28, began his UFC tenure with four straight wins before falling to Robert Whittaker in his most recent outing on Nov. 7. “Headbussa” was featured on “The Ultimate Fighter 17” and has earned seven of his 11 professional wins by TKO or KO.

Barnatt, 26, also entered the UFC fray by way of “TUF 17.” The Englishman reeled off three straight victories in the Octagon before dropping consecutive split decisions to Sean Strickland and Roger Narvaez, the first two setbacks of his pro career.
