Mirko Filipovic appears to have his next fight lined up, as the heavyweight knockout artist revealed on his Facebook page that he’ll be facing Anthony Hamilton at UFC Fight Night in Seoul.
The UFC has yet to confirm any bouts for the event, which takes place on Nov. 28 at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena and is expected to air on UFC Fight Pass. It will be the first time the promotion has ever visited South Korea.
The 40-year-old “Cro Cop” has won three consecutive fights, including a rousing comeback triumph over Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC Fight Night in Poland on April 11. The third-round technical knockout victory avenged a 2007 defeat to the Brazilian and marked the Croatian’s first Octagon triumph since 2010, when he submitted Pat Barry at UFC 115.
Hamilton, meanwhile, has alternated wins and losses in four UFC appearances since joining the organization in 2014. Most recently, the former Maximum Fighting Championship titlist appeared on the undercard of “Cro Cop’s” triumph over Gonzaga, as he outpointed Daniel Omielanczuk in a preliminary bout on the UFC Fight Night bill.
