Bellator 200 has lost its headliner, as an undisclosed injury has forced Mirko Filipovic to withdraw from Friday’s card.

Sherdog.com confirmed the withdrawal on Monday with a promotion official following an initial report from The Telegraph. “Cro Cop” was scheduled to face Roy Nelson in a heavyweight fight in the Bellator 200 main event. The matchup was also tabbed as an alternate bout for the California-based organization’s heavyweight grand prix.

As a result of the cancellation, the middleweight championship showdown between reigning titlist Rafael Carvalho and Gegard Mousasi has been elevated to the new headliner. Bellator 200 takes place at the SSE Arena in London and airs on the Paramount Network via tape delay in the United States at 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT.

Filipovic, 43, has won his last eight bouts. The Pride Fighting Championships veteran last appeared at Rizin’s New Year’s Eve event, where he stopped Tsuyoshi Kosaka in just 62 seconds. Filipovic lost to Nelson via third-round technical knockout in their first meeting at UFC 137 on Oct. 29, 2011.
