The nine-bout card for Invicta Fighting Championships 15 is now complete with the addition of four new bouts, including a strawweight showdown between Mizuki Inoue and Lacey Schuckman.
Additionally, Christine Stanley will meet Shannon Sinn at flyweight; Amanda Bell takes on Ediane Gomes at featherweight; and Megan Anderson faces Amber Leibrock at 145 pounds. The matchups were first announced during the debut of Invicta FC Radio on Wednesday.
Invicta FC 15 takes place at The Hangar at OC Fair in Costa Mesa, Calif., on Jan. 16 and is headlined by a featherweight championship clash between Cristiane Justino and Daria Ibragimova. The card streams in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
After dropping bouts to top Invicta talents Alexa Grasso and Karolina Kowalkiewicz, the 21-year-old Inoue returned to the win column in August, when she took a three-round verdict over Emi Fujino at Deep “Jewels 9” in Tokyo. Inoue is 9-4 as a professional overall, including six wins via submission.
A 19-fight veteran, Shuckman returned to the Invicta FC cage for the first time since 2012 in April, scoring a first-round technical knockout triumph over Jenny Liou Shriver. Eight of Shuckman’s 11 career triumphs have come inside the distance.
