NCAA wrestling standout Bubba Jenkins has joined American Top Team’s professional fight team, the Florida-based camp announced Friday. Jenkins recently capped his senior season at Arizona State University by winning the NCAA Division I national title at 157 pounds.

According to the camp’s release, Jenkins will soon move to Coconut Creek, Fla., to join the team full-time and train alongside established ATT fighters such as Thiago Alves, Mike Thomas Brown, Cole Miller and Hector Lombard.

A timetable for Jenkins’ professional debut has not been set, and it is currently unknown in which promotion the prospect will surface.

A state champion in high school, Jenkins began his NCAA wrestling career at Penn State University, earning second-place honors in 2008 at 149 pounds. After a clash with Nittany Lions head coach Cael Sanderson, Jenkins transferred to ASU, where he took home the 157-pound title in 2011.
