NSAC Overturns Win to No Decision
Having already been suspended six months and fined $2,500 by the
Nevada State Athletic Commission following a positive test for
marijuana, welterweight Anthony Lapsley (Pictures) relinquished his victory on
Tuesday after a commission ruling.
The 27-year-old Lapsley, who fights out of Fort Wayne, Ind., saw his Oct. 27 King of the Cage submission victory in Reno over Jaime Jara (Pictures) overturned to a "no decision."
The ruling puts Lapsley (11-3, 1 no decision) alongside the likes of Nick Diaz (Pictures), who was also tested positive for marijuana this year in Nevada.
