Nate Diaz Returns to Octagon Against Rafael dos Anjos at UFC on Fox 13

Nate Diaz will fight for the first time since November 2013 when he meets Rafael dos Anjos at UFC on Fox 13 on Dec. 13.

UFC officials announced the matchup on Tuesday. UFC on Fox 13 takes place at U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix and is headlined by a heavyweight tilt between Junior dos Santos and Stipe Miocic.

Following plenty of back-and-forth verbal sparring between Diaz and the UFC over contract terms, the 29-year-old will look to parlay his success against Gray Maynard with another victory. Diaz has an all-time record of 11-7 under the UFC banner with victories against the likes of Donald Cerrone, Takanori Gomi, Jim Miller and Melvin Guillard.
