If Nate Diaz is to be believed, his long-awaited rematch with Conor McGregor could be on the verge of coming to fruition.

The welterweight posted a video on his Instagram account of him delivering the famed “Stockton Slap” to UFC President Dana White with the caption “Getting deals done today.” Accompanying the video is an opening lyric from deceased rapper Tupac Shakur’s song “Hit ‘Em Up.”

Diaz’s post comes on the heels of an report that the rumored Diaz-McGregor rematch at UFC 202 on Aug. 20 was close to being finalized. During media rounds to promote UFC 199 earlier this week White said that he was working on getting a deal done for that fight but was running out of time to get both parties to agree to terms.

Diaz defeated McGregor via second-round submission at UFC 196 on March 5. Their rematch was initially scheduled to headline UFC 200 but the bout was removed from the bill when McGregor balked at fulfilling his promotional obligations.
