Emmett replaces the injured Nick Hein and will face Jon Tuck in a preliminary lightweight bout, promotion officials announced Wednesday. The matchup will be televised on Fox Sports 1. UFC Fight Night takes place at Ahoy Rotterdam in the Netherlands and is headlined by a heavyweight clash between Alistair Overeem and Andrei Arlovski.

Emmett was originally supposed to meet Joshua Aveles at West Coast Fighting Championship 17 on Saturday, but that bout has been scrapped due to his call-up to the UFC. Emmett is 9-0 as a professional, including a third-round technical knockout triumph over three-time Octagon veteran Christos Giagos in his most recent outing.

Tuck, meanwhile, is 3-2 in the Las Vegas-based promotion and is coming off a first-round submission of Tae Hyun Bang at UFC Fight Night in Manila nearly one year ago. “Super Saiyan” owns a 9-2 career mark.
