Nick Hein will face Tae Hyun Bang in a lightweight clash at UFC Fight Night in Hamburg, Germany, on Sept. 3.
UFC officials recently announced the pairing. UFC Fight Night takes place at Barclaycard Arena and is headlined by a heavyweight clash pitting Josh Barnett against Andrei Arlovski.
A native of Cologne, Germany, the 32-year-old Hein has been victorious in three of his four Octagon appearances, with all of his bouts going the distance. Most recently, Hein outpointed Yusuke Kasuya at UFC Fight Night “Barnett vs. Nelson” in Japan this past September. “Sergeant” owns a 13-2 professional mark overall.
Bang has alternated wins and losses in four outings since joining the UFC in 2014. The 33-year-old Korean Top Team representative split a pair of bouts in 2015, suffering a first-round submission loss to Jon Tuck at UFC Fight Night “Edgar vs. Faber” before garnering a split-decision triumph against Leo Kuntz at UFC Fight Night “Henderson vs. Masvidal.” The Seoul native has amassed a record of 18-9 over the course of a pro tenure that began in 2004.
