Northern Ireland’s Norman Parke will attempt to end a two-fight losing streak when he squares off with Reza Madadi at UFC Fight Night in Dublin on Oct. 24.

The Las Vegas-based promotion recently confirmed the lightweight matchup following an initial report from The Sun . UFC Fight Night takes place at the 3Arena and is headlined by a lightweight tilt pitting Joseph Duffy against Dustin Poirier.

Parke has dropped back-to-back fights to Gleison Tibau and Francisco Trinaldo in his first two appearances of 2015. The 28-year-old known as “Stormin” began his promotional tenure by going unbeaten in his first five outings, with a draw against Leonardo Santos the only blemish on his ledger during that time.

Madadi, meanwhile, has not competed since submitting lightweight contender Michael Johnson in the third-round at UFC on Fuel TV 9 in April 2013. The Sweden-based fighter was released from the UFC later that year after he was convicted of grand larceny for his alleged role in the robbery of a designer handbag store. “Mad Dog” is 13-3-1 as a professional, including eight wins via submission.
