Janikowski does not yet have an opponent for KSW 43, which takes place at the Hala Stulecia in Wroclaw, Poland. Additionally, Roberto Soldic will defend his welterweight title against Dricus Du Plessis, while Michal Andryzak will compete for the vacant heavyweight crown against an as-yet-to-be determined opponent. Promotion officials announced the bouts on Monday.

Janikowski made his MMA debut last May, when he stopped Gerardo Julio Gallegos via first-round technical knockout at KSW 39. His sophomore effort was successful as well, as he defeated Antoni Chmielewski by second-round knockout at KSW 41 on Dec. 23.

Soldic will be making his first 170-pound championship defense after capturing the belt with a victory over Borys Mankowski at KSW 41. The 23-year-old has won his last seven fights. South Africa’s Du Plessis will make his promotional debut after compiling an 11-1 mark under the Extreme Fighting Championship banner.

Andryszak enters his championship opportunity on the strength of a six-bout winning streak, including victories in his last two KSW appearances. The 25-year-old has finished all of his triumphs inside a round during his current tear.
