One Fighting Championship continues to bolster its Dec. 19 “Dynasty of Champions” card with the addition of Xian Ji facing the undefeated Yadong Song, Vincent Latoel taking on Adrian Pang, and a four-man, one-night featherweight tournament.
One FC 24 is set to take place at the Gymnasium of National Olympic Sports Centre in Beijing, China, on Dec. 19 and will be broadcast on pay-per-view.
At only 19 years of age, Song has emerged victorious in his first four professional fights. Known for his strong grappling ability, it is yet to be seen if The Terminator’s skillset will correlate to the bright lights of Asia’s largest mixed martial arts promotion.
Former Legend Fighting Championship kingpin Ji went undefeated in his first eight fights before being submitted by Yusuke Kawanago in 2012. “The Executioner” will be in action for the first time since finishing Agustin Delarmino in April of 2013.
A veteran of 30 professional fights, Pang has been competing professionally since 2001. “The Hunter” is a winner of five of his last six bouts, the lone defeat coming against One FC champion Jadamba Narantungalag.
Latoel maintains a .500 record in both One FC and as a professional, alternating between wins and losses for the Victor Cui-led promotion since 2013. Win he is victorious, it’s by finish, as 13 of his 15 wins have come before reaching the judges’ scorecards.
The featherweights who will vie for the title of One FC’s 145-pound champion will be He Nan Nan, Li Gen, Li Kai Wen and Wang Ya Wei. Of the four competitors, there is only two professional bouts of experience to speak of, which all can be attributed to Nan.
