Four new fights are now official for One FC 17, including a flyweight clash between Geje Eustaquio and Kentaro Watanabe.
One Fighting Championship officials announced the bookings on Tuesday, revealing that Indonesian talents Yohan Mulia Legowo and Zuli Silawanto will also be in action, taking on Ev Ting and Barbod, respectively. Additionally, Mahmoud Salama will collide with Aung La N Sang in a welterweight showdown.
One FC 17 takes place June 14 at Mata Elang International Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia, and is headlined by a flyweight confrontation pitting Adriano Moraes against Kosuke Suzuki. The event airs live via online pay-per-view at onefc.livesport.tv.
A seven-fight pro, Eustaquio has won three of his last four fights and owns a 2-1 record in the One FC cage. “Gravity” last competed on Dec. 6, outpointing Eugene Toquero at One FC 13 “Moment of Truth.”
Watanabe has twice his opponent’s professional experience over six years of competition. The 30-year-old Shooto veteran has won six of his last seven bouts heading into his One FC debut, most recently outpointing Kiyotaka Shimizu last July in a split verdict.
