A pair of bouts have been added to the UFC Fight Night 114 lineup, as Dustin Ortiz will square off against Hector Sandoval at flyweight, while Martin Bravo will meet Chris Gruetzemacher at featherweight.
The promotion’s Spanish branch announced the pairings on Wednesday. UFC Fight Night 114 takes place at Mexico City Arena in Mexico City on Aug. 5 and is headlined by a 125-pound showdown between Sergio Pettis and Brandon Moreno.
Ortiz has lost three of his last four bouts, including a second-round submission defeat to Brandon Moreno at UFC Fight Night 108 on April 22. Sandoval enters the matchup on the strength of back-to-back triumphs over Matt Schnell and Fredy Serrano in the Octagon.
Bravo improved to 11-0 with a second-round stoppage of Claudio Puelles in his Octagon debut at UFC Fight Night 98 this past November. Gruetzemacher, meanwhile, had a 12-fight winning streak snapped when he was submitted in the second-round by Chas Skelly at UFC Fight Night 104 on Feb. 4.
