Nissen Osterneck (Pictures) (5-0) has been forced to withdraw from his March 26 WEC match in Las Vegas.
"I regret to inform that I will not be fighting on the 26th due to a shoulder injury that will require surgery," the Relson Gracie student told Sherdog.com. "I will still attend the fights. However, I will be out for eight months after surgery."
Osterneck, who fought most recently at HDNet Fights on Dec. 15 and has finished all of his opponents, had not been officially announced for the WEC card. However, he had been booked to face another undefeated fighter in
Bryan Baker (Pictures) (6-0).
