Ovince St. Preux will collide with Patrick Cummins in a light heavyweight bout at UFC on Fox 15.
Promotion officials announced the booking on Wednesday. UFC on Fox 15 takes place at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., and is headlined by a middleweight showdown between Lyoto Machida and Luke Rockhold.
The 31-year-old St. Preux is 5-1 in the Octagon, with his only loss coming to wrestler Ryan Bader via five-round decision this past August. The former University of Tennessee linebacker rebounded to score a signature victory on Nov. 8, knocking out Mauricio Rua in 34 seconds at UFC Fight Night in Uberlandia, Brazil.
A former two-time All-American wrestler at Penn State University, Cummins has been on a roll since dropping his short-notice debut to Daniel Cormier at UFC 170. In his last three Octagon appearances, “Durkin” has bested Roger Narvaez, Kyle Kingsbury and Antonio Carlos Jr.
