Former University of Tennessee football player Ovince St. Preux will return to his home state when he faces Marcos Rogerio de Lima at UFC Fight Night 108 in Nashville.
Promotion officials announced the light heavyweight pairing on Friday. UFC Fight Night 108 takes place on April 22 at Bridgestone Arena and is headlined by a featherweight showdown between Cub Swanson and Artem Lobov.
St. Preux enters the matchup on a three-fight skid after falling to Volkan Oezdemir, Jimi Manuwa and Jon Jones in succession. “OSP” began his promotional tenure with victories in seven of his first nine bouts, including triumphs over Mauricio Rua, Nikita Krylov, Patrick Cummins and Gesias Cavalcante.
De Lima, meanwhile, is coming off a first-round TKO stoppage of Jeremy Kimball at UFC on Fox 23 on Jan. 28. The 31-year-old Brazilian is 4-2 in the Octagon overall, and all six of his promotional appearances have ended inside of a round.
