Just days after the dust had settled from their respective victories at UFC 174, light heavyweights Ryan Bader and Ovince St. Preux have agreed to square off when the promotion travels to Maine on Aug. 16.

UFC officials announced the pairing on Wednesday. The UFC Fight Night card marks the promotion’s first trip to The Pine Tree State and takes place at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine. The lineup also features a middleweight scrap pitting Tim Boetsch against Brad Tavares.

Bader, “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 8 winner, captured his second straight victory with a dominant decision over Rafael Cavalcante at UFC 174 this past Saturday. The former Arizona State University All-American wrestler owns notable triumphs over Quinton Jackson, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Keith Jardine during his promotional tenure.

St. Preux, meanwhile, earned his fourth straight Octagon win by submitting Ryan Jimmo at UFC 174. The ex-Strikeforce talent has lost just once in his last 14 outings -- a unanimous decision defeat to Gegard Mousasi in December 2011. In addition to Jimmo, “OSP” has bested Gian Villante, Cody Donovan and Nikita Krylov during his stint with the Las Vegas-based promotion.
