PBC on CBS Weigh-in Result: All Four Televised Fighters Make Weight

There wasn’t a hitch to be found anywhere at Saturday’s weigh-in for Premier Boxing Champions’ next PBC on CBS card, scheduled for Sunday afternoon. With two bouts filling out the televised portion of the card, all four of the featured fighters made weight.

The main event is a 10-round super middleweight battle between former WBC 168-pound champ Anthony Dirrell (27-1-1, 22 KOs) and Mexican bomber Marco Antonio Rubio. First on the scale was Rubio (59-7-1, 51 KOs), who thrice came up short in world title bids. “El Veneno” weighted in officially at 169.4 pounds. Following suit was Dirrell, who is coming off the first loss of his career; he clocked in at 169.6 pounds.

The co-main event is the thrilling rematch between WBA bantamweight champion Jamie McDonnell and Japanese rival Tomoki Kameda. The two fought a memorable war back in May where McDonnell (26-2-1, 12 KOs) walked away with a unanimous decision win. Kameda (31-1, 19 KOs) dropped McDonnell in the third and felt he did enough to win, vowing vengeance in the rematch.

Kameda was the first to the scale, where he weighed 117.8 pounds. Not to be outdone, the defending champ matched him ounce-for-ounce, officially weighing the same.

The PBC on CBS card will air live in the afternoon starting at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT. It’s being held inside the American Bank Center, Corpus Christi, Texas.

PBC on CBS Weigh-in Results:
