PFL 6 Weigh-in Results: 2 Fighters Miss Weight

One Professional Fighters League finalist from last year's tournament failed to make weight ahead of Friday's show.

The lightweight and welterweight divisions will be on display for PFL 6, the final event of the regular season, with a 155-pound "win or go home" matchup between Olivier Aubin-Mercier and Anthony Romero atop the card. While both headliners made weight, a pair of undercard fighters did not. 2022 welterweight finalist Dilano Taylor was penalized one point in the standings after coming in at 171.2 pounds, and he will also forfeit 20% of his show purse to opponent Carlos Leal Miranda. Additionally, featherweight Brahyan Zurcher missed weight, hitting the scales at 146.8 pounds for his showcase bout against Mike Bardsley, and has been fined 20% of his show purse.

Aubin-Mercier (18-5) won the PFL's 2022 lightweight championship and is off to a good start this season by defeating Shane Burgos in his last outing. He weighed 155.6 pounds for his second fight of 2023. Meanwhile, Romero (12-1) is coming off a successful PFL debut in the Challenger Series earlier this year against Antonio Caruso, and is looking to pull off the mighty upset. Romero weighed 155.4 pounds.

PFL 6 main card will air live on ESPN and ESPN+ at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on Friday. Prelims begin on ESPN+ at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.
