A welterweight clash between Patrick Cote and Ben Saunders is set for UFC Fight Night "Dillashaw vs. Cruz" on Jan. 17, the promotion’s Canadian branch announced Friday.

The event will be held inside the TD Garden in Boston and will be anchored by T.J. Dillashaw defending his bantamweight title against Dominick Cruz.

Cote has been on a hot streak as of late, having won nine of his of his last 11 bouts. He most recently knocked out perennial contender Josh Burkman in the third frame when they squared off at UFC Fight Night “Holloway vs. Oliveira” in August. The “Predator” once challenged Anderson Silva for the UFC middleweight crown, though he came up short in the match when the Canadian suffered a knee injury in the third.

Saunders has been equally as torrid, having won six of his last seven, with four of the victories coming via submission or knockout. “Killa B” last fought on the UFC on Fox 16 card in July, when he edged Kenny Robertson via split decision.
