Paul Taylor is making his long-awaited UFC return.
The British lightweight has been added to the Oct. 26 UFC card taking place in Manchester, England.
According to Sherdog.com and Fighters Only sources, he will face Anthony Njokuani on the card, which airs in the U.S. on Fox Sports 1 as UFC Fight Night 30.
Njokuani is 16-7 with one no-contest and is 1-1 in his last two, 2-2 in his last four. He goes into the fight on the heels of a win over Roger Bowling in April.
Taylor hasn’t fought since February 2011 when he took out Gabe Ruediger with a head kick in the second round of their UFC 126 contest.
Since then he has experienced injuries and bad luck of almost biblical proportions. He was supposed to fight Njokuani in November 2011 but was in a car crash days before the showdown and could not compete.
UFC Manchester will be headlined by Michael Bisping versus Mark Munoz, with Ross Pearson and Melvin Guillard in the co-main event.
