Multiple outlets have confirmed the pairing following an initial report by Brazilian outlet Combate. UFC 212 takes place at HSBC Arena on June 3 and is headlined by a featherweight championship tilt between Jose Aldo and Max Holloway.

“Borrachinha” had an explosive Octagon debut, as he defeated Garreth McLellan via technical knockout 77 seconds into their encounter at UFC Fight Night 106 on March 11. The 25-year-old Brazilian is 9-0 as a professional, with all of his victories coming inside of the first round.

Bamgbose, meanwhile, is 1-2 in three UFC appearances. Most recently, “The Holy War Angel” dropped a unanimous verdict to Cezar Ferreira at UFC on Fox 19 in April 2016. The Ring of Combat veteran earned his first Octagon triumph when he knocked out Daniel Sarafian with a head kick in the first round at UFC Fight Night 83.
