Former Penn State University wrestling stars Phil Davis and Ed Ruth now have opponents for Bellator MMA’s upcoming event on their home campus Nov. 3.

Davis, the former light heavyweight champion, will square off with Leonardo Leite, while Ruth will lock horns with Chris Dempsey in a middleweight contest. Sherdog.com confirmed the matchups with a promotion official following reports from MMAFighting.com and bluegrassmma.com.

Bellator 186 takes place at the Bryce Jordan Center at Penn State University. The card is headlined by a 205-pound title tilt between Ryan Bader and Linton Vassell. The event will be televised on Spike.

Davis began his promotional tenure with four consecutive triumphs but relinquished the light heavyweight strap in a narrow split decision defeat in a rematch with Bader at Bellator 180 on June 24. The 39-year-old Leite will make his Bellator debut with a 10-0 professional mark that includes six triumphs inside the distance.

Ruth has kicked off his Bellator career with three straight technical knockout triumphs. The 30-year-old Dempsey went 1-3 during a UFC stint from 2014 to 2016 and is 11-5 as a professional overall.
