Quarterfinal Matchups Set for ‘Copa Combate’ Bantamweight Tourney on Nov. 11

The quarterfinal pairings for Combate Americas’ "Copa Combate” tournament are set for Saturday.

The matchups are as follows: Michael Erosa vs. Marcelo Rojo; Carlos Rivera vs. Ricky Palacios; John Castaneda vs. Kevin Moreyra and Marc Gomez vs. Andres Ayala. The Erosa-Rojo winner will square off against the Rivera Palacias winner, while the Castaneda-Moreyra winner will face the Gomez-Ayala winner.

“Copa Combate” takes place at Grand Oasis Cancun in Cancun, Mexico on Saturday and will air on both Telemundo and NBC Sports Network at 11:30 p.m. ET/10:30 p.m. CT. The winner of the bracket will receive a $100,000 prize.
