Resurrection Fighting Alliance this week announced that RFA 39 will invade the Chicagoland area on June 17. The event will be anchored by the promotion’s featherweight championship as Raoni Barcelos will defend his title for the first time against Bobby Moffett.

RFA 39 will be televised live on AXS TV starting at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT and will be held inside Hammond Civic Center in Hammond, Ind., just southeast of Chicago.

Barcelos won the title at RFA 29 where he edged Ricky Musgrave via unanimous decision. One of the best featherweight prospects in the sport, he has bounced back with two wins since losing for the only time as a pro.

Moffett has been on a tear lately as well. The Homewood, Illinois, native has won four in a row with three of those victories coming via stoppage.
