The Ultimate Fighting Championship will close out its 2015 slate with a lightweight title tilt between reigning champion Rafael dos Anjos and Donald Cerrone at UFC on Fox 17.

The Las Vegas-based promotion confirmed the matchup on Thursday following an initial report from Fox Sports. UFC on Fox 17 takes place at the Amway Center in Orlando on Dec. 19 and airs on Fox. No other bouts have been announced for the event.

Dos Anjos captured the lightweight title with a dominant five-round verdict over Anthony Pettis at UFC 185 on March 14. The Brazilian has been sidelined since then, as he has been recovering from a torn MCL suffered in training ahead of the Pettis bout. Dos Anjos has won nine of his last 10 fights, including a unanimous decision triumph over Cerrone at UFC Fight Night “Condit vs. Kampmann 2” in August 2013.

Cerrone, meanwhile, has remained as active as any fighter in the UFC while winning eight straight bouts since his loss to dos Anjos. The 32-year-old Jackson-Wink MMA product last appeared at UFC 187, where he stopped John Makdessi with a head kick 4:44 into the second round.
