Randa Markos to Meet Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger at UFC Fight Night in Ottawa

Randa Markos will square off against Jocelyn Jones-Lybarger at UFC Fight Night in Ottawa.

Promotion officials announced the strawweight contest on Thursday. UFC Fight Night takes place at TD Place in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on June 18 and is headlined by a welterweight showdown between Rory MacDonald and Stephen Thompson. The evening’s main card will be televised on Fox Sports 1.

Markos, 30, is 1-2 during her brief UFC tenure. “The Ultimate Fighter 20” cast member last competed at UFC on Fox 17 in December, when she suffered a decision loss to Karolina Kowalkiewicz. The Tristar Gym product is 5-3 in her pro career, with three victories via submission.

Jones-Lybarger had a four-bout winning streak snapped in her Octagon debut, as she lost a three-round verdict to Tecia Torres at UFC 194 in December. The former Resurrection Fighting Alliance champion is 6-2 as a professional, with five victories by decision.
