Episode 11 of “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 16 averaged 804,000 viewers this past Friday on FX, while Bellator 82 drew 156,000 observers to MTV2 on the same night.

An industry source informed Sherdog.com of the viewership figures on Tuesday. This week’s “TUF” turnout represents a significant increase from the show’s previous episode, which netted only 643,000 viewers for the Fox-owned cable network. Two earlier episodes jointly hold the season high, as the fourth and eighth episodes both attracted 1.1 million viewers.

This week’s installment of the series featured a pair of welterweight quarterfinal collisions, with Team Nelson’s Jon Manley trumping teammate Joey Rivera and Team Carwin’s Mike Ricci besting countryman Michael Hill.

Meanwhile, Bellator Fighting Championships experienced a small increase in viewership when compared to the promotion’s previous two events, which attracted 148,000 and 149,000 viewers. Bellator 82 took place at Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mount Pleasant, Mich., and saw unbeaten Russian prospect Andrey Koreshkov win the Season 7 welterweight tournament by outpointing former champion Lyman Good in the evening’s headliner.
