Former UFC light heavyweight Thiago Silva will be released from jail Friday on a $25,000 bond, according to a report from CBS Miami.

Silva was arrested Feb. 6 by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office after allegedly threatening his estranged wife with a gun outside the Pablo Popovitch Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and then reportedly barricading himself inside his house.

Silva, 31, was initially denied bond by a judge on Feb. 7, but that decision was reversed Friday, according to the CBS Miami report, which alleged Silva secured bond under several strict conditions after friends testified on his behalf at the hearing. Sherdog.com attempted to verify the conditions of Silva’s release with Authentic Sports Management representative Josh Husak, but Husak could not immediately be reached for comment.

A 21-fight pro, Silva was booked to lock horns with Ovince St. Preux at UFC 171 prior to his arrest, but St. Preux will instead face Nikita Krylov at the March 15 event. Silva last fought in October, outpointing Matt Hamill at UFC Fight Night 29. The victory marked the native Brazilian’s second straight win after going 1-3 with two no-contests in his prior six fights. Shortly after Silva’s arrest last month, the UFC terminated his contract.
