Ricardo Ramos Draws Michinori Tanaka for Octagon Debut at UFC Fight Night 104

Ricardo Lucas Ramos, who was featured on a recent episode of the “Dana White: Lookin’ for a Fight” reality show, has his first fight inside the Octagon lined up.

After submitting Alfred Khashakyan in August, Ramos was signed by the Las Vegas-based MMA powerhouse, and it was recently revealed that his promotional debut will come against Shooto veteran Michinori Tanaka at UFC Fight Night 104. The UFC confirmed the bantamweight pairing on Wednesday.

Ramos made his way into the Legacy Fighting Championship cage in 2015. After going 2-0 for the promotion, the Brazilian suffered his first pro loss when he was submitted by Manny Vazquez at Legacy FC 51 last February. However, Ramos bounced back with the rear-naked choke win over Khashakyan and now finds himself gearing up for his UFC debut.

Tanaka has gone 2-2 inside the Octagon. The Japanese submission ace is coming off a loss to Rani Yahya at UFC Fight Night 95 in September.

UFC Fight Night 104 goes down on March 4 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Headlining the event will be a featherweight scrap between Dennis Bermudez and Chan Sung Jung while Alexa Grasso versus Felice Herrig will serve as the co-feature.
