Fight fans outside of Japan will have an opportunity to watch Rizin’s next event live on pay-per-view.
The Japanese promotion announced on Saturday that it has partnered with FITE TV to stream its April 16 card entitled “Rizin 2017 in Yokohama: Sakura.” The event will be available for $14.99 on the FITE TV app and begins at 3 p.m. local time, or 2 a.m. ET in the United States.
“I hope fans across the globe can experience Japanese MMA first-hand from women’s fights to the fast and technical flyweight fights and world-class heavyweights battling one another, along with the overall spectacle atmosphere we deliver,” RIizin FF Chairman Nobuyuki Sakakibara said in a release.
The card takes place at Yokohama Arena and will see Anthony Birchak square off against Tatsuya Kawajiri in the main event. In another featured bout, former UFC flyweight title challenger Kyoji Horiguchi will lock horns with Yuki Motoya. The promotion’s fifth event will feature 11 bouts in total.
