Robbie Lawler Suffered Torn ACL vs. Rafael dos Anjos, Expected to Undergo Surgery
Robbie Lawler could be looking at an extended layoff after suffering a torn ACL against Rafael dos Anjos in the UFC on Fox 26 headliner last month.

"He blew his ACL, meniscus and every other thing that's in your knee out in like the third round," White said. "Wobbled over to the fence, laid against it and asked Dos Anjos to come in so they could just bang it out. Robbie Lawler went to the fifth round.”
Lawler lost a unanimous decision verdict to dos Anjos on Dec. 16 at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He did not mention the injury after the bout. “Ruthless” relinquished the welterweight strap in a first-round knockout loss to Tyron Woodley at UFC 201. He returned to the win column with a three-round verdict over Donald Cerrone at UFC 214 before falling to dos Anjos.
