A heavyweight main event clash between Rogent Lloret and Bobby Brents will take place as planned at CWFC 45, as both fighters hit their marks at Friday’s weigh-ins.

Lloret, a veteran of the M-1 and Bellator promotions, tipped the scales at 236.5 pounds, while Brents checked in at 247.2 pounds. Cage Warriors Fighting Championship 45, which takes place at the HMV Forum in London, England, on Saturday, features a total of six main card bouts.

The 32-year-old Lloret was unbeaten in two outings in 2011, winning a unanimous decision over Karol Bedorf in March and submitting Haris Reiz with an arm-triangle choke in June. The Spaniard fell to current Bellator heavyweight king Cole Konrad via unanimous decision in his lone appearance with the Chicago-based promotion in 2010. Seven of Lloret’s 11 career victories have come by submission.

Brents enjoyed a prolific 2011, winning five of his six fights, with his lone setback coming at the hands of current UFC prospect Stipe Miocic. “Zombie” last competed in October, where he earned a unanimous decision triumph against Cody Griffin.

The rest of the fighters on Saturday’s main card also made weight without issue, including Chris Fields (185.9) and Jack Mason (185), who will square off in the first round of the organization’s middleweight tournament. As reported by MMAjunkie.com on Thursday, a second scheduled 185-pound tournament bout between John Phillips and Tony Machado was scrapped after Machado suffered an injury. Since there wasn’t sufficient time to find a replacement , Phillips advanced to the semifinals.

All but one competitor on the event’s undercard also made weight. Michael Jones weighed 135.2 pounds for his 130-pound catch-weight affair with Ben Hajir (129.3). As a result, Jones will forfeit 25 percent of his purse.
