Ross Pearson Considered Retirement Following First Knockout Defeat

An emotional Ross Pearson got back in the winning circle Saturday at UFC 221 with victory over Japanese fighter Mizuto Hirota. The win snapped a four-fight losing streak.

The 33 year-old Brit, who moved to Australia to be with his wife (and former Ultimate Fighting Championship ring girl Kristie Jane Pearson) was coming off a brutal knockout defeat in his last bout against Dan Hooker in June 2017. He spoke with Submission Radio after the bout about getting his career back on track and how he evaluated his future in the sport after the Hooker loss.
