Fans of Sage Northcutt will not have to wait long for his next test in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
The 19-year-old phenom has been matched up with Cody Pfister on Dec. 10 ‘s UFC Fight Night “VanZant vs. Calderwood” card, which goes down at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.
Northcutt (6-0, 4 KO, 2 Sub) made waves with his UFC debut, where he quickly dispatched of Francisco Trevino in just 57 seconds on Oct. 3.
Pfister (12-4), will enter the contest on the heels of his first Octagon win, which came against Yosdenis Cedeno via unanimous decision on July 11. The 25-year-old Texan is 1-1 in the UFC.
Dec. 10’s event will be headlined by Paige Van Zant vs. Joanne Calderwood, and also features a pivotal matchup between Jim Miller and Michael Chiesa.
