Two more bouts have been added to the burgeoning UFC on Fox 9 bill.

UFC officials announced Tuesday night that Scott Jorgensen will make the cut to 125 pounds for a meeting with Ian McCall at the Dec. 14 event, which takes place at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, Calif. UFC on Fox 9 is headlined by a lightweight title conflict between Anthony Pettis and Josh Thomson and will additionally feature a 155-pound clash pitting Mac Danzig against Joe Lauzon.

Jorgensen, 31, last competed in April, when he submitted to a rear-naked choke applied by Urijah Faber at “The Ultimate Fighter 17” finale. “Young Guns” has gone 3-3 in his six fights since coming up short in his bid to capture the World Extreme Cagefighting belt from Dominick Cruz in 2010, posting his last victory in December 2012 over “TUF 14” alum John Albert.

McCall, 29, bounced back from consecutive defeats in his most recent outing, taking a hard-fought unanimous decision from Iliarde Santos at UFC 163 last month. Prior to that win, “Uncle Creepy” had gone 0-2-1 in his UFC career, drawing with Demetrious Johnson before falling in both rematch with “Mighty Mouse” and an encounter with Joseph Benavidez.

Danzig has lost three of his last four fights, with his lone victory in that span coming via unanimous decision over ex-Octagon talent Efrain Escudero. The 33-year-old was last seen in July, when he suffered a brutal knockout at the hands of Melvin Guillard at UFC on Fox 8.

Like his opponent, Lauzon has also stumbled in three of his last four outings, falling in both of his most recent Octagon appearances. Following a “Fight of the Night” and “Submission of the Night” worthy victory over Jamie Varner last summer, “J-Lau” was turned away by Jim Miller in another “Fight of the Night” this past December before succumbing to Michael Johnson last month at UFC Fight Night 26.
