Season 27 of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ to Showcase Undefeated Male Competitors
“The Ultimate Fighter” train will keep rolling along for a 27th
season, and this time, the focus will be on undefeated
fighters.
The UFC announced Thursday that it will be holding an open casting call for male fighters with an undefeated record at 145, 155 and 170 pounds on Dec. 12 in Las Vegas. All “TUF” hopefuls must have at least three professional bouts to their credit.
Those who wish to tryout must complete an online application
here. During the tryout,
prospective fighters will be asked to grapple and hit pads and must
be wearing the appropriate gear to do so. Those who are selected to
move on will be notified by the end of the day.
The upcoming season, appropriately titled “The Ultimate Fighter: Battle of the Undefeated,” will begin filming in January. The latest iteration of the long-running reality show will premiere later in 2018.
“TUF 26” is nearing its conclusion and will crown the promotion’s inaugural 125-pound women’s champion on Dec. 1 in Las Vegas.
