A welterweight clash between Sergio Moraes and Max Griffin has been added to the UFC Fight Night 106 lineup, promotion officials recently announced.

UFC Fight Night 106 takes place in Fortaleza, Brazil, on March 11 and is headlined by a middleweight clash between Vitor Belfort and Kelvin Gastelum. The evening’s main card will be televised on Fox Sports 1.

Moraes, 34, is unbeaten in his last six promotional appearances, with a draw against Luan Chagas at UFC 198 the only blemish on his record during that time. Most recently, “The Panther” earned a split verdict over Zak Ottow at UFC Fight Night 100 on Nov. 19.

Griffin rebounded from a third-round TKO defeat to Colby Covington in his Octagon debut to stop Erick Montano in 54 seconds in his sophomore outing at UFC Fight Night 98 on Nov. 5. The 31-year-old Sacramento native is 13-3 as a professional, including seven triumphs via KO/TKO.
