Founded in 2008, Shark Fights has held 14 events since it's debut in Amarillo, Texas. The promotion recently held it's first pay-per-view show in September with Shark Fights 13, which was headlined by a Keith Jardine-Trevor Prangley main event. Shark Fights signed a deal with HDNet in 2011, and the promotion's March 11 show was the first to broadcast on the cable network.
“Shark Fights is off to a strong start in 2011, and the team looks forward to continued success in bringing new and exciting events to the mixed martial arts community,” said Nolen. “We are very excited about the future and to hosting MMA events not only in Texas, but in other states as well.”
