UFC 223 takes place on April 7 from the Barclays Center, boasting a title doubleheader, with interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson meeting unbeaten Khabib Nurmagomedov in the main event, while Joanna Jedrzejcyk seeks to regain her women’s strawweight title from Rose Namajunas in the co-feature.
All six champions, as well as Epstein, will profile and pose for the media at 9 a.m. ET, following the ringing of the bell.
The UFC has indulged in the NYSE’s daily festivities before. Previously, champions such as Frankie Edgar, Jon Jones, Ronda Rousey, Georges St. Pierre and even ring announcer Bruce Buffer have helped ring in the day.
The promotion’s heavyweight champion Miocic will be making his second appearance at the Stock Exchange, having rang the bell on the eve of UFC 205, the promotion’s debut at Madison Square Garden in New York.
