“The Ultimate Fighter 10” Finale garnered 3.7 million viewers with a 2.4 average household rating, according to Spike TV.

The three-hour event peaked during the Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson-Houston Alexander bout with 5.2 million viewers and a strong 5.9 rating in the Men 18-34 demographic. The network said the event was the most watched UFC live event on Spike TV in 2009.

These numbers fall short of the record-setting 6.1 million viewers that tuned in to watch Slice, real name Kevin Ferguson, during the season’s third episode. Nelson earned a second-round technical knockout over the Internet backyard brawler during the most-watched episode ever for the original series in its six-year history (5.3 million viewers, 3.7 household rating).

Nelson-Slice remains the most watched fight ever (live or taped) on Spike TV, topping Quinton Jackson and Dan Henderson’s middleweight battle at UFC 75 in September 2007, which garnered 5.9 million viewers. Slice-Alexander sits at third.

Saturday’s live finale was the third most-watched UFC fight event ever, said Spike TV.
