Spike TV’s broadcast of the UFC 134 “Silva vs. Okami” prelims netted an average of 1.3 million viewers Saturday night.

A Spike TV representative informed Sherdog.com of the viewership figures Tuesday, also revealing that the hour-long “Prelims Live” special earned a 0.9 household rating and ratings of 1.02 and 1.23 in the Male 18-49 and M18-34 demographics, respectively. According to Spike TV, “Prelims Live” was the No. 1-ranked cable program on Saturday among men aged 18-49.

The network also announced that, due to the prevalence of power failure on the east coast caused by Hurricane Irene, Spike TV will re-air the broadcast on Thursday, Sept. 1, at 8 p.m ET. The replay will be preceded by an Anderson Silva-themed “UFC Unleashed” marathon beginning at 3 p.m. ET.

Headlined by a middleweight title clash between Silva and Yushin Okami, UFC 134 emanated from HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The Spike TV broadcast immediately preceded the promotion’s pay-per-view offering and featured a middleweight clash between Rousimar Palhares and Dan Miller, as well as a lightweight contest between Thiago Tavares and Spencer Fisher.
