Steven Ray will step in for the injured James Krause and face Ross Pearson at UFC Fight Night 99 in Belfast.
Promotion officials announced the change on Thursday. UFC Fight Night takes place on Nov. 19 and is headlined by rematch between Uriah Hall and Gegard Mousasi. The card streams in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass.
Ray won his first three Octagon appearances before falling to Alan Patrick Silva Alves via unanimous decision in his most recent outing at UFC Fight Night 95 on Sept. 24. The 27-year-old Scotland native is 19-6 as a professional, with 14 triumphs coming inside the distance.
Pearson will be fighting for the fifth time in 2016 when he steps into the Octagon with Ray. The English fighter is 1-3 thus far this year and is coming off back-to-back losses against Jorge Masvidal and Will Brooks.
