Strikeforce Challengers 12 Adds 135-Pound Women's Showdown

Strikeforce late on Monday announced two additional bouts for its Nov. 19 bill at the Jackson Convention Complex in Jackson, Miss.

Added to the Showtime-televised (11 p.m. ET -- delayed on the West coast) Strikeforce Challengers 12 event is a 135-pound women’s clash pitting Jan “Cuddles” Finney against Liz Carmouche and a lightweight tilt matching Caros Fodor across the cage from Derek Getzel.

Finney (8-8), who was stopped by Strikeforce 145-pound women’s champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos with a second round knee to the body in June, is returning to her natural 135-pound weight class for the bout.

“I'm far from cuddly,” said Finney, a native of Springfield, Ohio, in a press release. “I'm more like a bull in a china shop.’’

Carmouche, a 4-0 prospect from San Diego, Calif., has finished three of her opponents within the contracted time limit.
