The third episode of “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 13 saw an improvement from last week in total viewership, as the hour-long broadcast drew 1.3 million viewers, up from 1.2 million in week two.

The show did see a small decrease in its household rating, however, earning a 0.9, down from last week's 1.0. But the same was not true for the male 18-34 and 18-49 demographics, which both saw growth. Episode three earned ratings of 1.7 and 1.4 in those respective categories, whereas episode two garnered ratings of 1.4 and 1.13, respectively.

Week three’s episode featured the best fight of the season thus far, as Team dos Santos' Ryan McGillivray earned a hard-fought majority decision over Team Lesnar's Len Bentley. After being floored by a hard left hook, McGillivray fought his way off the canvas and dropped Bentley with a left hook of his own, resulting in a razor-close first round.

The second stanza was also tough to call, as both men dished out punishment standing. After two rounds of action, two of the three cage-side judges awarded the fight to McGillivray, the third calling the fight a 19-19 draw.
